GT Motive Estimate is a fresh approach to estimating and a new start for the industry.
It is a web-based graphical estimating tool designed to enable vehicle damage assessors to quickly and accurately calculate the cost of repairs to a vehicle. It is the only system to offer collision and maintenance repair data.
It is easy to use, brings significant cost and time savings, and generates the most accurate estimates on the market. It is software designed to improve your business, not to tie it down.
GT Motive Estimate can be used as a standalone estimating platform or can be fully integrated with Mitchell WorkCenter and RepairCenter Connect for full claims management.
Our database and technical information is the largest, most reliable and comprehensive on the market, covering 97% of the European vehicle car park.
We have the support of 37 vehicle manufacturer and use OEM times to produce the most accurate estimates. We use AZT paint calculations and give access to Escribe methods. We are fully integrated with the leading bodyshop management systems and with OEM, free-to-choose and green parts catalogues.
It is the first cloud-based graphical estimating platform in the UK. High-quality and accurate graphics ensure that part identification and selection is quick, easy and error-free. VIN look-ups give full identification of a vehicle's equipment to ensure accurate estimate outcomes first time, every time.
GT Motive Estimate is a flexible, configurable solution and benefits from continual development. Upgrades are managed remotely with no downtime or IT support required.
The development roadmap for 2017/18 includes GT Motive Estimate Responsive, a solution design for tablet devices, and an FNOL Notification app to streamline accident reporting and triage from the roadside.
Our analytics team design custom reports which fit your business, to deliver accurate and insightful management information reporting.
Unlike other systems, we guarantee the safety of your data. GT Motive is fully secure and cannot be intercepted.
Though it's new to the UK, GT Motive Estimate is a well-established global solution with over 26,000 users and 12,500 bodyshops in 23 countries.
The software is developed by GT Motive, a Mitchell partner company, which has half a century of experience developing claims, maintenance and breakdown management solutions, and employs 250 staff across Europe. Phil has worked within the automotive industry for 25 years and is an expert in the field of estimatics and vehicle repair.
A true industry insider, Phil has worked in partnership with stakeholders along the accident repair chain – from top 10 insurance companies and work providers to major bodyshop networks and technology providers. He has significant experience as an estimator and has an unrivalled knowledge of estimatics software. He has built a reputation for operations management, process improvement and senior team leadership, and is passionate about bringing sustainable change to the industry he has been part of for his whole working life.
As Operations Manager for DWS Bodyworks, the largest independent accident repair group in the UK, Phil headed up a team of nine internal and external engineers and over 60 VDAs, with responsibility for process improvement and driving right-first-time estimating across the business.
In his time with DWS, Phil managed 22 manufacturer approvals and looked after the group’s standards compliance. As part of the senior management team Phil developed and implement a strategy which expanded the business from 11 to 17 sites and grew profits year on year.
Phil developed and delivered the concept for mobile bike teams to visit customers, take photographs and send them back to a centralised engineering team. Away from work, Phil enjoys watching his boys play sports, walking, hitting a golf ball a long way (though not always in the right direction) and enthusiastically supporting F1 (mainly by shouting at the television).
